Plans for the future

Hi everyone (by that I mean almost no one, because who looks at my site kekw). Huh, some stuff happened after I took a pause with maintaining this site. And life didn't go well. But well, it sometimes happens.

I've been experimenting with Rust and my indie game "When the Stars Switch". By the way I love Godot. Why Rust? I wanted to have an app to track my mood, but I couldn't find a good one so I decided "hey, why don't I write one myself!". And that's how the mood-tracker project was born. What will happen with it? I don't know, we'll see. I think I'll use Dioxus, it looks promising. But as I said, we'll se how that goes.

I went ice skating today with our class. It was nice, last time I skated was almost 2 years ago, as far as I can remember. So yeah, a nice refresher for my skills.

Lately I've got one idea that I can't get out of my head. What if, lets say for a week, I stopped using the "new tech" stuff, like my laptop or phone, and switched to for example a mp3 player, a camera and just older stuff. And that brings another idea, what if I relied solely on a hand-make kind of watch, like my BitBand project that I've made for the science picnic of my school. But stop using the slow-ass LCD 20x4 display and move to a small OLED one, that can display more that just characters. And if I remember correctly, it also drains less power. I first need to get a ESP32 instead of Raspberry Pi Pico, because the latter is driving me INSANE. I can't eaisly hot-swap the code, I need to replug it like 4 times to flash a program. It really slows down development. I know there is a debug probe, but I think that RPI Pico too crappy for me to buy another thing for it. I'll just stick to the ESP32. I need a bigger OLED screen too, one that is the size of the old LCD screen. Time to use my 3D printer too for the case.

I'll be implementing a pictures page soon, with the photos of my projects and yeah, I think that's it.
Till the next time!
