How to learn programming
2025-04-08
Hey everyone! Bambuko here.
So, you might have come here because you want to learn programming.
I'm going to share my experience about that topic.
First off, let's start with the basics: you don't know anything about programming.
There are a lot of great tutorials on youtube to get started, but to grasp the basic concepts,
I recommend learning C++ and trying to make a small game like tic-tac-toe or snake.
That way, you effectively not only learn the theory, but also the practice.
The more you practice, the more you'll learn, so go out there and start coding!
Why I said games?
It's because I'm personally an indie game developer.
I have been making games since I was in primary school and that is my biggest passion as of now.
Now, let's move on to the more advanced topics.
Say you have been learning C++ for a while now and you want to learn more.
You can could try making a game in Godot or Unity, or for example become a penetration tester and write tools in Python.
There are a lot of options out there, so don't be afraid to try something new.
If you would like to have a specific topic covered, just hit me up on Discord (@bambukodev) or email me (all of that info is in the main page).
Remember, learning programming is a lifelong process.
You will never be able to grasp everything in one day, so don't be afraid to learn the basics first.
I will cover more topics about game development and programming in the future, so stay tuned!
If you have reached this far, congratulations!
Like really, I didn't know that it would be so appealing to you.
I'm really glad that you are interested in learning programming.
Have a nice day!
